  • Do you have a showroom for your products?
    Unfortunately, we are a fully online based e-retailer and we do not have a showroom to save costs, which translates to lower prices for your purchases. However, our friendly salespeople will be there to answer any queries you might have.
  • Why are the prices of your products so affordable?
    At Chairs Actually, we believe that there is a sustainable balance between price and quality. We cut out pesky salespeople and overheads in the form of showrooms, bringing you the best price possible.
  • What are your modes of payment and is payment by installment possible?
    We accept payment via all major credit cards (via Paypal), PayNow, and bank transfers. Unfortunately, we do not accept payment by installments currently.
  • Do your products come already assembled?
    Unless otherwise stated, our products are mostly self-assembled. However, for a fee, you can purchase an option for our technician to come to your lodging to assemble any relevant furniture.
  • Do your products come with free delivery?
    Yes, there are no hidden delivery costs. However, there are three situations where additional delivery costs would be incurred. a. In the case of exchanges/returns, the customer is expected to pay for transport costs, to prevent customers from abusing said policy. b. Should there be no lift access, there will be a delivery surcharge of $20 per floor. c. Should the recipient not be home at stated time of delivery, there will be a surcharge of $50 for redelivery (one-way) in addition to an overnight storage charge of $100 (per night).
  • What long will delivery take?
    Delivery should take 3-4 weeks, barring any unforeseen circumstances including manufacturing, shipping or customs delays, in which case we seek your kind understanding. For bespoke items, delivery might take up to one week more.
  • What is the delivery process like?
    Our delivery team will contact you at least one day before the proposed delivery date. If you cannot be home on the proposed date, please inform us so we can schedule another date for you (at our discretion).
  • Can I cancel my order if the product arrives after 3-4 weeks?
    At Chairs Actually, we strive to deliver our products to you in the fastest time possible, but experience has taught us that there will unforeseen delays beyond our control sometimes. As such, please be patient with us should your products arrive later than expected.
  • Can I specify my preferred time and date for delivery?
    Unfortunately, we optimize delivery of items by both region and time and it would not be possible to set a preferred timing currently.
  • Is there an option for faster delivery?
    Customers can request for delivery within 1-2 weeks if there is an urgent need. However, this option can be quite pricey and we do not encourage it. For more information, please contact our friendly sales representative.
  • Do you offer furniture disposal services?
    Unfortunately, this is not a service we offer currently.
  • What is your return/exchange policy?
    In the event of any major manufacturing defect, we provide a 1-to-1 exchange of the relevant item. Please refer to our return/exchange guidelines.
  • What is your refund/cancellation policy?
    If you have a change of mind after purchasing the product, you can cancel the purchase within 24 hours. Thereafter, upon receipt of the product, no refund/cancellation will be possible. In the event of major manufacturing defects, please refer to our return/exchange guidelines
  • Do all items come with warranty protection?
    All of our items come with 12 month warranty protection.
  • What does your warranty cover?
    Like our return/refund policy, warranty only covers manufacturing defects and/or mechanism failures. For more information, please refer to our warranty guidelines.
